Procurement and Contracting

As part of ETCS’s basic installation services, we will procure and contract with the services of any and all trade contractors and equipment suppliers. The team strives to work only with trusted and proven partners.

Project Management and Site Supervision

Throughout the entire installation period, ETCS will provide all required project management and site supervision to ensure a smooth project including:

• Clear communication with all parties
• Schedule and budget control
• Document management
• Supervision of all on-site work to ensure the quality of the work, adherence to contract requirements, site safety and cleanliness.

Building and General Construction

Electrical Utility Upgrades

If it is determined a utility upgrade (from the pole to the meter) is required, we will provide the on-site supervision and coordination of the utility company to execute the upgrade. In some cases, the work will be performed directly by the utility company and in others by ETCS.

Electrical Equipment and Infrastructure

The electrical equipment (switchgear) and infrastructure (pipe and wire) are the key components to ensuring that the operating system is safe and sufficiently powered. The procurement of this equipment will often dictate the project’s schedule.  ETCS will handle all aspects of this equipment’s procurement, transportation, setting and connecting.  All in a code compliant manner.

Site Work

The under ground and above ground site work of an EVC project is often simple. However, in many cases it poses the greatest safety risk during the work.  At ETCS, we treat the safety of our team members, our clients, and the public as our top priority.  We will utilize all proper procedures and safety equipment to do so.

We strive to leave our work site in a better condition than we found it. Areas impacted by the work, such as concrete sidewalks, asphalt paving, mulching, and landscaping, will be restored to the highest standard.  As part of our installation services, we will handle work that includes removals, trenching and excavation, backfilling, concrete sidewalks, curbing, and pads, paving and striping, and replacement of all mulch, landscaping, and lawns as required.

Charging Stations

ETCS will ensure that all equipment (whether it be a level 2 or 3 charger, or a single port or dual one), is installed properly. This will ensure durability, ease of use, maintenance accessibility, and compliance with the design and manufacturer guidelines. The proper upfront installation can also minimize future service and maintenance costs.
